Owning a business-critical booking experience

At ATU, I took over the online appointment booking frontend with almost no handover and became its sole frontend engineer for nearly two years. I worked with backend, QA, and DevOps to keep the product running while modernizing its foundations and delivering new functionality.

I helped launch the booking experience in Austria, improved the appointment flow, redesigned key parts of the website, and migrated repositories and delivery pipelines to GitLab.

I also introduced Cypress and improved frontend logging and dashboards, making production issues easier to investigate and giving the team better visibility into the booking journey.
